Overview

CD203c Antibody / ENPP3 / PD-Ibeta / PDNP3 is an antibody targeting CD203c. Host: Mouse. Monoclonal. Clone: ENPP3/9892. Format: Purified. Applications: IHC-P.

Key elements and design rationale

  • Target: CD203c.
  • Immunogen: A portion of amino acids 300-600 from human ENPP3 protein was used as the immunogen for the CD203c antibody..
  • Species reactivity: Human.
  • Localization: Apical cell membrane, Cell membrane, Secreted.
  • Conjugate: Unconjugated (no label listed).

Biological background (from provided description)

Ecto-nucleotide pyrophosphatase/phosphodiesterase-I enzymes (E-NPP), a group of type II transmembrane proteins, cleave phosphodiester and phosphosulfate bonds in deoxynucleotides, NAD, and nucleotide sugars. There exist three closely related proteins in mammalian species: E-NPP1 (PC-1), E-NPP2 (PDNP2), and E-NPP-3, also known as CD203c, each expressed in different cells or at different locations in the same cells.

Common research applications

  • IHC: tissue distribution assessment; interpret with matched controls.

Notes for experimental interpretation

  • Account for isoforms, paralogs, and post-translational modifications when interpreting signal.
  • Support specificity with biological controls (e.g., KO/KD where available) and technical controls (e.g., secondary-only/isotype).

Customization & Add-ons: Can’t find the antibody you need—or require a custom format for your assay? We can help you source the best match or support custom antibody solutions for diverse research needs, including species and isotype selection, conjugations and labeling (e.g., HRP/AP, biotin, fluorophores), purification grade options (Protein A/G, affinity purified), formulation preferences (buffer selection, carrier-free, glycerol-free), custom concentrations and aliquoting, low-endotoxin options for cell-based work, and application-focused QC/validation support (project dependent).
