Overview
CD26 Antibody / Dipeptidyl peptidase 4 is an antibody targeting CD26. Host: Mouse. Monoclonal. Clone: DPP4/7415. Format: Purified. Applications: WB, IHC-P.
Key elements and design rationale
- Target: CD26.
- Immunogen: A recombinant partial protein sequence (within amino acids 1-200) from the human protein was used as the immunogen for….
- Species reactivity: Human.
- Localization: Cell Surface.
- Conjugate: Unconjugated (no label listed).
Biological background (from provided description)
Recognizes a glycoprotein of 110kDa, identified as CD26 (Workshop VI; Code: N-L039). It is an atypical serine protease belonging to the prolyl oligopeptidase family. It is expressed on lymphocyte cells and is upregulated during T-cell activation. CD26 is also expressed on activated B cells and natural killer cells and abundantly on epithelia.
Common research applications
- WB: relative abundance and band pattern assessment using appropriate controls.
- IHC: tissue distribution assessment; interpret with matched controls.
Notes for experimental interpretation
- Account for isoforms, paralogs, and post-translational modifications when interpreting signal.
- Support specificity with biological controls (e.g., KO/KD where available) and technical controls (e.g., secondary-only/isotype).
Customization & Add-ons: Can’t find the antibody you need—or require a custom format for your assay? We can help you source the best match or support custom antibody solutions for diverse research needs, including species and isotype selection, conjugations and labeling (e.g., HRP/AP, biotin, fluorophores), purification grade options (Protein A/G, affinity purified), formulation preferences (buffer selection, carrier-free, glycerol-free), custom concentrations and aliquoting, low-endotoxin options for cell-based work, and application-focused QC/validation support (project dependent).
