Scientific background
EasyStep Human hs-CRP (high sensitivity C Reactive Protein) is an acute-phase inflammatory marker that can rise during systemic inflammation, infection, or tissue injury.
Acute-phase proteins are often used to monitor overall inflammatory burden and compare disease severity across cohorts.
Because they integrate signals from multiple inflammatory pathways, they are useful for screening and for tracking response-to-treatment trends over time.
Why it matters
- Quantify EasyStep Human hs-CRP (high sensitivity C Reactive Protein) to compare biological changes across conditions, doses, or time points.
- Generate concentration data from a standard curve to support biomarker and mechanistic studies.
How the ELISA works
Designed for Human samples, this kit uses a The test principle applied in this kit is Sandwich enzyme immunoassay. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Human CRP, and the Human CRP standard plate wells that pre-coated using protein-related techniques are provided separately. Standard/Sample Diluent Buffer or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells ,then added a HRP-conjugated antibody specific to Human CRP. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain Human CRP and HRP-conjugated antibody will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of Human CRP in the samples is then determined by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.. After binding and washing, signal is converted to concentration using a standard curve.
