Compound Overview

Epiblastin A is an ATP-competitive casein kinase 1 (CK1) inhibitor, with IC50 values of 8.9, 0.5, and 4.7 μM for CK1α, CK1δ, and CK1ε, respectively. It induces reprogramming of epiblast stem cells into embryonic stem cells through inhibition of CK1[1]. It is supplied as a light yellow to green yellow solid (C12H10ClN7, MW 287.71) at 99.44% purity.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures, and not for human or veterinary use. Handle in accordance with the Safety Data Sheet and your institution's chemical hygiene plan.

In Vitro

SolventSolubilityNotes
DMSO4.55 mg/mL (15.81 mM)requires sonication and warming and heat to 60°C; use freshly opened DMSO (absorbed moisture lowers solubility)

Aliquot the stock solution and store it at -80°C (up to 6 months) or -20°C (up to 1 month); avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
