Overview
Click light‑blue chips for details
IL-10/Interleukin-10 is quantified in equine serum, tissue using the Equine IL-10/Interleukin-10 ELISA Kit, a sandwich-format ELISA. Pre-coated wells, a calibrated standard, and ready-to-use detection reagents deliver reproducible quantification; it detects down to about 10 pg/mL, quantifies across 0.1–25 ng/mL, and returns results in 2 hours.

Assay Principle

Tribioscience’s Fast Equine IL-10 ELISA is designed to quantitatively detect equine IL-10 levels in different tissues including skin, muscle, neural, serum, and other biological samples. The main feature is that the kit uses our novel proprietary approaches to combine samples and detections into a one-step instead of the complicated traditional methods. It makes the assay simple, easy, accurate, and fast. The measurement can be finished in 2 hours, with no need for 4-5 hours (Fig. 1). The detection range is from 0.1 to 25 ng/mL. The levels of equine IL-10 samples are parallel to the standard curves obtained using the kit standards linearly. These results indicate that this kit can be used to determine relative mass values for natural equine IL-10 protein.

Typical Data This standard curve (R 2 =0.9998) is provided for demonstration only. A standard curve should be generated for each set of samples assayed. Fig. 3 is an example of typical Data.

Sensitivity The minimum detectable dose (MOD) of equine IL-10 is typically 10 pg/mL.

Equine IL-10/Interleukin-10 ELISA Kit is a Solid-phase sandwich ELISA for the quantitative determination of IL-10/Interleukin-10. The microplate is pre-coated with a capture antibody specific to the target. Target present in the sample or standard binds the immobilized antibody, is detected with a biotinylated detection antibody and streptavidin-HRP, and quantified colorimetrically against a standard curve.

Kit Components

The kit provides a pre-coated microplate, target standard for standard-curve generation, detection reagents (detection antibody and enzyme conjugate), wash buffer, substrate, and stop solution. Refer to the product datasheet for the complete component list and quantities.

Safety & Handling

For Research Use Only (RUO). Not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. Follow standard laboratory safety practices and consult the SDS before handling.
What sample types are compatible with this kit?

This kit is validated for serum, tissue. Other matrices may require additional in-lab validation.

What is the sensitivity and detection range?

This assay has a sensitivity of 10 pg/mL and a detection range of 0.1–25 ng/mL. Samples reading outside the range should be diluted or concentrated.

How long does the assay take?

The total assay time is approximately 2 hours from sample addition to plate reading.

What is included in the kit?

The kit provides a pre-coated microplate, target standard for standard-curve generation, detection reagents (detection antibody and enzyme conjugate), wash buffer, substrate, and stop solution. See the datasheet for the full component list and quantities.

What instrument is required?

A standard microplate reader capable of measuring absorbance at 450 nm is required for this sandwich ELISA.
