Assay Principle
Tribioscience’s Fast Human Aβ40 ELISA is designed to quantitatively detect human Aβ40 levels in CSF, serum, plasma, and other biological samples. The main feature is that the kit uses our novel proprietary approaches to combine samples and detections into a one-step instead of the complicated traditional methods. It makes the assay simple, easy, accurate, and fast. The Hands-on time can be within 2 hours, with no need for 4-5 hours (Fig. 1). The detection range is from 31.25 to 2000 pg/mL. The levels of human Aβ40 samples are parallel to the standard curves obtained using the kit standards linearly. Therefore, the kit can be used to determine relative mass values for natural human Aβ40 protein.
Typical Data This standard curve (R 2 =1.000) is provided for demonstration only. A standard curve should be generated for each set of samples assayed. Fig. 3 is an example of typical Data.
Sensitivity The minimum detectable dose (MOD) of humans is typically 10 pg/ml. The Intra-assay CV and the Inter-assay CV are ˂10%.
Fast Human Amyloidβ 40/Aβ40 ELISA Kit is a Solid-phase ELISA for the quantitative determination of Amyloidβ 40/Aβ40. The microplate is pre-coated with a capture antibody specific to the target. Target present in the sample or standard binds the immobilized antibody, is detected with a biotinylated detection antibody and streptavidin-HRP, and quantified colorimetrically against a standard curve.
Kit Components
The kit provides a pre-coated microplate, target standard for standard-curve generation, detection reagents (detection antibody and enzyme conjugate), wash buffer, substrate, and stop solution. Refer to the product datasheet for the complete component list and quantities.

Safety & Handling
This kit is validated for serum, plasma. Other matrices may require additional in-lab validation.
This assay has a sensitivity of 10 pg/mL and a detection range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. Samples reading outside the range should be diluted or concentrated.
The kit provides a pre-coated microplate, target standard for standard-curve generation, detection reagents (detection antibody and enzyme conjugate), wash buffer, substrate, and stop solution. See the datasheet for the full component list and quantities.
A standard microplate reader capable of measuring absorbance at 450 nm is required for this sandwich ELISA.
