Affinity purified recombinant enhanced green fluorescent protein (GFP) is a versatile tool that can be effectively used as a control to determine transfection efficiency, for microinjection into tissues and cells as well as for expression studies. GFP Purified Protein can be used as a standard for SDS gels, for Western Blots, and for fluorometry. This protein has a 6X Histidine Tag at its N-terminus and was purified using immobilized metal affinity chromatography (IMAC).

| Storage Conditions | The lyophilized protein is stable for at least one year from date of receipt at -20°C. Upon reconstitution, this protein can be stored in working aliquots at 2°-8°C for one week. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. |
Each lot is functionally tested to verify activity prior to release. A Certificate of Analysis (CoA) documenting lot-specific quality control data is available on request.
Store at −20°C in a non-frost-free freezer. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles; aliquoting for long-term storage is recommended. This product is stable for ≥2 years from the date of shipment under proper storage conditions.
