Inhibitors

Compound Overview

Gossypolone is an inhibitor of the RNA-binding protein Musashi-1 with a Ki of 12 nM that disrupts the Musashi-numb RNA interaction by directly binding to the RBD1 domain of the MSI1 protein, and can be used in cancer research[1]. It is supplied as a light yellow to brown solid (C30H26O10, MW 546.52) at 96.28% purity.
