Hieff Canace™ Veritas Long PCR Master Mix (No Dye) is a ready-to-use 2× premix designed for long-fragment amplification with 83-fold higher fidelity than standard Taq DNA polymerase and 9-fold higher than standard Pfu (NGS-validated). Extension rate of 10 sec/kb supports amplification up to 40 kb from genomic templates. Amplification products have blunt ends. Supports templates with 20–80% GC content and enables direct amplification from whole blood (EDTA, citrate, or heparin) without prior nucleic acid extraction.

This High-Fidelity DNA Polymerase delivers 83-fold higher fidelity than standard Taq DNA polymerase and 9-fold higher than standard Pfu DNA polymerase. Fidelity was evaluated by next-generation sequencing (NGS), which provides a direct and highly sensitive error rate measurement across thousands of base positions simultaneously.
This mix can amplify genomic DNA fragments up to 40 kb. Extension rate guidance: use 5 sec/kb for fragments up to 10 kb, and 10 sec/kb for fragments greater than 10 kb. cDNA fragments from 1 kb to 14 kb can also be amplified efficiently.
Yes. This formulation enables direct amplification from crude whole blood samples without prior nucleic acid extraction. Compatible blood preservation anticoagulants include EDTA, citrate, and heparin. Residual inhibitors in crude blood are tolerated by the optimized buffer system.
Amplification products have blunt ends. This makes the products directly compatible with blunt-end cloning, Gibson Assembly, and other ligation-independent cloning methods without any additional polishing or A-tailing steps.
This mix is validated for templates with GC content ranging from 20% to 80%, making it suitable for amplification of both GC-rich and AT-rich templates including challenging genomic regions and repetitive sequences.
