Description

The HieffTM Plasmid Mini Kit adopts HieffTM DNA Column P3 and a new solution system, and uses the conventional alkali cracking method to separate plasmid DNA. In the extraction process, toxic organic substances such as phenol and chloroform are not needed to be extracted, and time-consuming isopropanol or ethanol precipitation is not needed. The HieffTM DNA Column P3 in the kit can specifically adsorb plasmid DNA, and does not adsorb protein, polysaccharide and other non-nucleic acid substances, so it is efficient, rapid and convenient. The extracted plasmid DNA has high purity and can be directly used in subsequent experiments such as DNA digestion, transformation and sequencing.

Feature

  • Wide Sample Range: Suitable for routine small-scale plasmid extraction; processes 2–6 mL of bacterial culture per prep.
  • High DNA Purity: Free from protein and RNA contamination; DNA is ready for downstream applications such as digestion, transformation, and sequencing.
  • High DNA Yield: Columns can bind up to 60 μg of plasmid DNA.
