Hieff UNICON™ ColorGPS qPCR Master Mix (Low ROX) is a 2× real-time quantitative PCR premix featuring high fluorescence intensity, sensitivity, specificity, and amplification yield. Antibody-based Hot Start inhibits non-specific amplification. ColorGPS mixed-dye pipetting tracking reduces pipetting errors. This Low ROX variant provides a low-concentration ROX passive reference signal compatible with instruments requiring Low ROX correction (e.g., Bio-Rad CFX, Roche LightCycler 480).

Features

  • ColorGPS pipetting tracking: color-change dye verifies pipetting accuracy
  • Antibody-based Hot Start: inhibits non-specific amplification
  • Low ROX: compatible with Bio-Rad CFX, Roche LightCycler 480, and similar instruments
  • High fluorescence intensity and amplification yield
  • Low inter-well variability: improved replicate reproducibility

The Low ROX format is optimized for instruments that require a low-concentration ROX passive reference signal, including Bio-Rad CFX96, CFX384, Roche LightCycler 480, and similar platforms. Using High ROX on these instruments can saturate the reference channel, while using No ROX on platforms expecting ROX can affect baseline correction.

ColorGPS uses a mixed-dye color-change mechanism that provides visual confirmation of master mix dispensing into each well. This allows the operator to visually scan the plate for any wells that appear colorless (missed) or double-colored (double-dispensed) before adding template and proceeding.

This mix demonstrates high fluorescence intensity with low inter-well variability, accurate template concentration resolution, and compatibility with both standard and rapid qPCR cycling programs, providing flexibility for different instrument speed configurations.

Store at −25 to −15°C. Shipped on dry ice. For long-term stability, store as supplied and avoid repeated freeze-thaw of working aliquots.

Valid results: amplification efficiency 90–110%; R² > 0.98; S-shaped curve with Ct 15–35; single-peak melting curve; NTC Ct > 35.
