The one-step format performs gDNA removal and reverse transcription in a single tube without intermediate steps or tube transfers. This significantly reduces total workflow time, minimizes RNA degradation risk during handling, and reduces the potential for cross-contamination between samples.
Total RNA input: 10 pg to 5 µg per reaction (do not exceed 2 µg for standard workflows). mRNA input: 10 pg to 500 ng. For low-expression targets, total RNA can be increased within the stated upper limit.

Yes. The AdvanceFast formulation is specifically designed for complex RNA templates and is validated for effective reverse transcription of low-abundance transcripts.
Both perform genomic DNA removal, but the gDNA Remover Mix in this one-step format is optimized for use in a combined RT + gDNA removal reaction at 37°C without requiring a separate digestion step. The separate 5× gDNA Digester Mix in Cat# 11141 operates in a distinct sequential digestion step before reverse transcription.
