Description
Hifair™ Super Reverse Transcriptase is an updated version of Hieff™M-MLV (H-) Reverse Transcriptase obtained by genetic engineering technology. It has higher cDNA synthesis ability, thermal stability, and reaction temperature limit (up to 70°C) than Hieff™ M-MLV (H-) Reverse Transcriptase. The synthesized cDNA product is up to 10kb. Hifair™ V Reverse Transcriptase enhances the affinity of the templates and is suitable for reverse transcription of RNA templates with complex secondary structures or low-copy genes.
Features
Suitable for RT-LAMP applications.
Glycerol-free, Suitable for lyophilization.
Unit Definition
One unit (U) of enzyme activity is defined as the amount of enzyme required to incorporate 1 nmol of dTTP into acid-insoluble material within 10 minutes at 37°C, using Poly(A).Oligo(dT) as the template-primer.

Storage Conditions
Store at 4˚C for up to 6 months.
Store this enzyme at -20°C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve catalytic activity. The product is shipped Dry Ice and remains stable for up to one year from the date of manufacture when stored under recommended conditions. Aliquoting the stock solution into single-use volumes is recommended for enzymes used infrequently to minimize thermal cycling of the bulk stock.
This enzyme is validated for use in Reverse Transcription, NGS Library Preparation applications. It is suitable for use in both standard laboratory research settings and, where applicable, optimized reaction workflows requiring high specificity, sensitivity, or throughput.
One unit (U) is defined as the amount of enzyme that catalyzes the incorporation of 1 nmol of dTTP into acid-precipitable material in 10 min at 37°C using poly(A)·oligo(dT)₁₅ as template/primer.
This enzyme is produced as Recombinant (E. coli) and supplied as a Research Use Only (RUO) reagent. The formulation is glycerol-free, making it compatible with lyophilization, high-throughput liquid handling systems, and direct integration into IVD master mix formulations. Each lot is subjected to activity assay, purity assessment by SDS-PAGE, and functional validation prior to release. A Certificate of Analysis (CoA) and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) are available on request.
This reverse transcriptase is engineered for enhanced thermostability (active at 50–60°C) and high processivity on templates with complex secondary structures, including GC-rich regions and long mRNA transcripts. The enzyme incorporates RNase H activity to degrade the RNA template during first-strand synthesis, facilitating downstream PCR or library preparation.
