Assay Principle
This EZ-Set™ kit supplies a matched capture and detection antibody pair and a standard for building your own sandwich ELISA for human C-X-C motif chemokine 10 (gene CXCL10) in cell culture supernatants, serum, plasma (heparin, EDTA), saliva and urine. You coat the plate with the capture antibody, add samples and standards, detect with the biotinylated antibody and an avidin–biotin–peroxidase complex, develop with TMB and read at 450 nm. Plates, diluents, wash buffer, TMB and stop solution are not included.
CXCL10 (IP-10) is an interferon-γ-inducible chemokine that binds the receptor CXCR3. It attracts activated T cells, NK cells and monocytes to sites of infection and inflammation and also has angiostatic effects. CXCL10 is commonly measured as a marker of interferon-driven immune responses in viral infection, autoimmunity and transplant research.
