Assay Principle
The Fast Human IL-2 ELISA is a solid-phase ELISA designed to measure human IL-2 levels in cell culture supernatants, serum, and plasma. The main feature is that the kit uses our novel proprietary approaches to combine samples and detections into a one-step instead of the complicated multiple steps in traditional methods. It makes the assay simple, easy, accurate, and fast. The measurement can be finished in 1 hour, not need 4-5 hours (Fig. 1). The detection range is from 8 to 2000 pg/mL. The levels of human IL-2 samples are parallel to the standard curves obtained using the kit standards linearly. These results indicate that this kit can be used to determine relative mass values for natural human IL-2 protein.

Human IL-2 ELISA Kit is a Solid-phase ELISA for the quantitative determination of IL-2. The microplate is pre-coated with a capture antibody specific to the target. Target present in the sample or standard binds the immobilized antibody, is detected with a biotinylated detection antibody and streptavidin-HRP, and quantified colorimetrically against a standard curve.

Safety & Handling
This kit is validated for cell culture supernatant, serum, plasma. Other matrices may require additional in-lab validation.
This assay has a sensitivity of 8.0 pg/mL and a detection range of 8–2000 pg/mL. Samples reading outside the range should be diluted or concentrated.
The total assay time is approximately 1 hour from sample addition to plate reading.
