Isodihydroauroglaucin exhibits antibacterial activity against most Gram-positive bacteria tested (except S. pneumonia ATCC 49619), with MIC values from 4 μg/mL to 64 μg/mL; the lowest value was seen against macrolide-resistant S. pneumoniae Monza-82. Similar MIC values are found for Isodihydroauroglaucin against Bacillus cereus and Salmonella typhimurium[1].
