Product Overview
Liposomal Acridine Orange Dye contains 0.1 mM acridine orange encapsulated in non-PEGylated liposomes composed of DPPC : cholesterol = 1 : 1 (w/w). Fluorescent dyes encapsulated in liposomes are used to track liposome distribution in biological systems.
More than 99% of the dye is encapsulated, the total lipid concentration is 10 mg/ml, and the average liposome size is about 80 nm. The dye is read with excitation at 485 nm and emission at 535 nm.
