Liposomal Dyes

Product Overview

Liposomal Rhodamine G Dye contains 0.1 mM rhodamine G encapsulated in non-PEGylated liposomes composed of DPPC : cholesterol = 1 : 1 (w/w). Fluorescent dyes encapsulated in liposomes are used to track liposome distribution in biological systems.

More than 99% of the dye is encapsulated, the total lipid concentration is 10 mg/ml, and the average liposome size is about 80 nm. The dye is read with excitation at 520 nm and emission at 580 nm.
