LY393615 free base, also known as NCC1048 free base, is a novel neuronal Ca2+ (calcium channel) and Na+ (sodium channel) blocker, with IC50s of 1.9 μM and 5.2 μM for the α1A and α1B calcium channel subunits. It has good brain penetration and neuroprotective effects in models of cerebral ischemia, and it can be used for neurological disease research[1]. It has the molecular formula C21H25F2NO and a molecular weight of 345.43 g/mol.
