Compound Overview

MAO-B-IN-30 is a potent, selective, blood-brain-barrier-penetrant inhibitor of MAO-B, with IC50 values of 19.176 μM against MAO-A and 0.082 μM against MAO-B. It shows antiproliferative activity without cytotoxicity, lowers levels of TNF-alpha, IL-6, and NF-kB, and has been proposed as a candidate for Parkinson's disease research[1]. It is supplied as a light yellow to yellow solid (C15H10BrN3O2, MW 344.16) at 98.53% purity.
