L-α-Phosphatidylcholine (PC) is a phospholipid. The kit detects PC at 0.005% (0.05 mg/ml) and above.
Kit Components
| Component | MPC200K |
|---|---|
| MPC Reagent A | 5 ml |
| MPC Reagent B | 20 ml |
| 100 x MPC Reagent C | 0.2 ml |
| MPC Reagent D | 10 ml |
| L-α-Phosphatidylcholine standard (1 mg/ml) | Included |
Assay Principle
Phosphatidylcholine interacts with the MPC reagent and raises its fluorescence at 535 nm (excitation 485 nm). L-α-Phosphatidylglycerol (PG) does not interact with the reagent. Signals are converted to concentration with a linear standard curve.
