Oxaliplatin is a platinum-based anticancer drug used to treat colorectal cancer. It kills cells by blocking DNA synthesis. Its concentration is measured in drug discovery, drug development and pharmaceutical samples.
Kit Components
| Component | OPT200 |
|---|---|
| Reagent A | 4 ml |
| 50 x Reagent B | 0.080 ml |
| 10 x Reagent C | 2 ml |
Assay Principle
The sample is heated with Reagent A and Reagent B, then Reagent C is added and the absorbance at 440 nm is read. Absorbance at 440 nm is linear with oxaliplatin concentration, and unknowns are read from a standard curve.
