UDP (uridine diphosphate) levels are measured to check UDP contamination in UTP samples, to monitor UTP hydrolysis, and to follow enzymes that generate UDP.
Pack Sizes
The only difference is the number of assays: MUD100K supplies reagents for 100 samples and MUD500K for 500 samples in 384-well format, with component volumes scaled accordingly.

Assay Principle
Samples are first mixed with a premix of buffer and MUD Reagents 1 and 2, then a fluorescence dye is added and fluorescence at 535 nm (excitation 485 nm) is read. UDP is measured in the sub-micromolar to low micromolar range against a linear standard curve.
