Scientific background
CD3(Cluster of Differentiation 3) Microsample is a cell-surface/immune phenotype marker commonly used to characterize immune cell subsets or activation states.
When soluble or shed forms are measurable (target-dependent), concentrations can reflect immune activation, receptor turnover, or tissue inflammation.
These measurements can complement flow cytometry by adding a soluble biomarker readout that is compatible with biofluids.
Why it matters
- Quantify CD3(Cluster of Differentiation 3) Microsample to compare biological changes across conditions, doses, or time points.
- Generate concentration data from a standard curve to support biomarker and mechanistic studies.
How the ELISA works
Designed for Mouse samples, this kit uses a The test principle applied in this kit is Sandwich enzyme immunoassay. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Mouse CD3. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells then with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Mouse CD3. Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain Mouse CD3, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of Mouse CD3 in the samples is then determined by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.. After binding and washing, signal is converted to concentration using a standard curve.
