Assay Principle
This EZ-Set™ kit supplies a matched capture and detection antibody pair and a standard for building your own sandwich ELISA for mouse triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 1 (gene Trem1) in cell culture supernatants, serum, plasma (heparin, EDTA) and cell lysates. You coat the plate with the capture antibody, add samples and standards, detect with the biotinylated antibody and an avidin–biotin–peroxidase complex, develop with TMB and read at 450 nm. Plates, diluents, wash buffer, TMB and stop solution are not included.
TREM-1 is an activating receptor on neutrophils, monocytes and macrophages that amplifies inflammatory responses. Through the adaptor DAP12 (TYROBP) and the kinase SYK, it enhances cytokine and chemokine release triggered by Toll-like receptor signaling. A soluble form of TREM-1 is measured in sepsis research, and the receptor is studied in acute and chronic inflammation.

- Microplate Reader capable of reading absorbance at 450nm.
