Necrostatin-1 is a specific inhibitor of necroptosis, a regulated form of necrotic cell death. It has demonstrated neuroprotective effects in models of stroke and excitotoxicity. By inhibiting RIP1 kinase, Necrostatin-1 reduces neuronal damage and inflammation, making it a valuable tool in acute neurodegenerative research.

Classification: Caution: Substance not yet fully tested.

Safety Phrases:

  • S22 - Do not breathe dust
  • S24/25 - Avoid contact with skin and eyes
  • S36/37/39 - Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection
