Overview
Neuropilin-1 Antibody is an antibody targeting Neuropilin-1. Host: Mouse. Monoclonal. Clone: NRP1/4620. Format: Purified. Applications: IHC-P.
Key elements and design rationale
- Target: Neuropilin-1.
- Immunogen: A recombinant partial protein (within amino acids 700-900) from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the Neu….
- Species reactivity: Human.
- Localization: Cytoplasm, Membrane, Secreted.
- Conjugate: Unconjugated (no label listed).
Biological background (from provided description)
Neuropilin is a type I transmembrane receptor that has been implicated in aspects of axon growth and guidance and has been shown to act as a high affinity receptor for class III semaphorins and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). A closely related protein, neuropilin-2, shares a common domain structure and signifcant homology with neuropilin and also acts as a receptor for the class III semaphorins and VEGF.
Common research applications
- IHC: tissue distribution assessment; interpret with matched controls.
Notes for experimental interpretation
- Account for isoforms, paralogs, and post-translational modifications when interpreting signal.
- Support specificity with biological controls (e.g., KO/KD where available) and technical controls (e.g., secondary-only/isotype).
Customization & Add-ons: Can’t find the antibody you need—or require a custom format for your assay? We can help you source the best match or support custom antibody solutions for diverse research needs, including species and isotype selection, conjugations and labeling (e.g., HRP/AP, biotin, fluorophores), purification grade options (Protein A/G, affinity purified), formulation preferences (buffer selection, carrier-free, glycerol-free), custom concentrations and aliquoting, low-endotoxin options for cell-based work, and application-focused QC/validation support (project dependent).
