Overview
NOL11 Antibody / Nucleolar Protein 11 is an antibody targeting NOL11. Host: Rabbit. Polyclonal. Format: Lyophilized. Applications: WB, ELISA.
Key elements and design rationale
- Target: NOL11.
- Immunogen: E.coli-derived human NOL11 recombinant protein (Position: D32-K626) was used as the immunogen for the NOL11 antibody..
- Species reactivity: Human.
- Conjugate: Unconjugated (no label listed).
Biological background (from provided description)
NOL11 antibody detects Nucleolar protein 11, encoded by the NOL11 gene on chromosome 2p22.2. NOL11 antibody is used to study this nucleolar protein that is essential for ribosome biogenesis and proper cell cycle progression. NOL11 localizes to the nucleolus, where it associates with ribosomal DNA and processing factors required for synthesis of 18S rRNA.
Common research applications
- WB: relative abundance and band pattern assessment using appropriate controls.
Notes for experimental interpretation
- Account for isoforms, paralogs, and post-translational modifications when interpreting signal.
- Support specificity with biological controls (e.g., KO/KD where available) and technical controls (e.g., secondary-only/isotype).
Customization & Add-ons: Can’t find the antibody you need—or require a custom format for your assay? We can help you source the best match or support custom antibody solutions for diverse research needs, including species and isotype selection, conjugations and labeling (e.g., HRP/AP, biotin, fluorophores), purification grade options (Protein A/G, affinity purified), formulation preferences (buffer selection, carrier-free, glycerol-free), custom concentrations and aliquoting, low-endotoxin options for cell-based work, and application-focused QC/validation support (project dependent).
