Biological Activity
OD36 is a selective and potent RIPK2 inhibitor with an IC50 of 5.3 nM.OD36 inhibits ALK2 signaling and osteogenic differentiation (KD: 37 nM), and binds efficiently to the ALK2 kinase ATP pocket.
Target(s): RIP kinase, ALK
Signaling pathway(s): Angiogenesis, Tyrosine Kinase/Adaptors, NF-kappab, Apoptosis
Safety & Regulatory
For Research Use Only (RUO). Not for therapeutic, diagnostic, or clinical use. Wear appropriate PPE and consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) prior to handling.
Most small molecule inhibitors are not compatible with autoclaving (121 °C), which can cause thermal decomposition or loss of biological activity. For sterile cell-based experiments, filter-sterilize working solutions through a 0.2 µm membrane after dilution into aqueous buffer. Verify thermal stability in the DataSheet before applying any heat treatment.
Solid-form products can be stored at -20°C for more than 3 years. Stock solutions are typically stored at -80°C and can be stored for more than 1 year. It is recommended to aliquot the product to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. For short-term storage, samples can be kept at 4°C for more than one week.
