P32/98 is a synthetic peptide inhibitor of prolyl endopeptidase (PEP), an enzyme involved in the cleavage of proline-containing peptides. In neuroscience, PEP activity is linked to neuropeptide regulation and cognitive function. P32/98 is used to study the role of PEP in neurodegenerative diseases and psychiatric disorders. By inhibiting PEP, P32/98 modulates neuropeptide signaling, which influences mood, memory, and neuroinflammation. Its application in behavioral and biochemical studies supports the exploration of peptide-based therapies for neurological conditions.

Classification: Caution. Substance not yet fully tested.
