Overview
PAK4 Antibody / P21-activated kinase 4 is an antibody targeting PAK4. Host: Rabbit. Polyclonal. Format: Lyophilized. Applications: WB.
Key elements and design rationale
- Target: PAK4.
- Immunogen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the C-terminus of human PAK4 was used as the immunogen for the PAK4….
- Species reactivity: Human.
- Conjugate: Unconjugated (no label listed).
Biological background (from provided description)
PAK4 antibody detects P21-activated kinase 4, encoded by the PAK4 gene on chromosome 19q13.2. PAK4 antibody is used to study this serine/threonine kinase belonging to the group II PAK family, which also includes PAK5 and PAK6. PAK4 is an effector of the small GTPase Cdc42 and plays critical roles in cytoskeletal regulation, cell survival, and oncogenic signaling.
Common research applications
- WB: relative abundance and band pattern assessment using appropriate controls.
Notes for experimental interpretation
- Account for isoforms, paralogs, and post-translational modifications when interpreting signal.
- Support specificity with biological controls (e.g., KO/KD where available) and technical controls (e.g., secondary-only/isotype).
Customization & Add-ons: Can’t find the antibody you need—or require a custom format for your assay? We can help you source the best match or support custom antibody solutions for diverse research needs, including species and isotype selection, conjugations and labeling (e.g., HRP/AP, biotin, fluorophores), purification grade options (Protein A/G, affinity purified), formulation preferences (buffer selection, carrier-free, glycerol-free), custom concentrations and aliquoting, low-endotoxin options for cell-based work, and application-focused QC/validation support (project dependent).
