Product Overview
This PCR product and plasmid clean-up kit recovers high-purity DNA fragments containing no salt or low salt and no impurities such as protein or RNA from the PCR reaction system. The 200 bp–10 kb DNA fragment has a recovery rate of more than 80%, and can recover single-stranded, double-stranded DNA fragments and circular plasmid DNA. Recovered DNA can be used directly in restriction digestion, ligation and sequencing reactions.
The PCR product is mixed with five volumes of Solution PG, or six volumes for fragments under 500 bp, and loaded onto Adsorption column G. The column is washed twice with 600 µL of Wash Buffer, centrifuged at 13,000 × g for 2 min, air-dried for 2–4 min and eluted with 15–50 µL of Elution Buffer, with 30 µL recommended. Recovered DNA has an OD260/OD280 of about 1.8–2.0.

Applications
- Purification of PCR products
- Recovery of circular plasmid DNA
- Enzyme digestion and ligation of recovered fragments
- Sequencing reactions
Key Features
- Fast speed: 15 minutes to complete DNA recovery, can process multiple samples at the same time, save time.
- Fewer steps: Simple operation — the purification is completed in a few centrifugation steps.
- High efficiency: The unique spin column and carefully prepared buffer can recover a large amount of high purity target DNA each time.
- Processing capacity: The amount of DNA that can be adsorbed by each centrifugal adsorption column each time is up to 10 µg.
Storage & Handling
All components are stored at room temperature for 1 year.
Usage Notes
- Check that the pH of Solution PG is 7.5 or below after opening.
- Add ethanol to the Wash Buffer before first use.
- Keep the PCR reaction volume below 300 µL.
- Use six volumes of Solution PG for fragments under 500 bp.
- Air-dry the column for 2–4 min before elution; residual ethanol lowers recovery.
