Scientific Background
Phosphodiesterase 4A11 (PDE4A11) is a long-form cAMP-specific phosphodiesterase encoded by PDE4A. PDE4 enzymes are major regulators of intracellular cAMP levels in immune and neuronal cells, controlling inflammatory signalling downstream of beta-adrenergic and prostaglandin receptors. PDE4 inhibitors such as roflumilast are approved for COPD and psoriasis therapy.

Recommended Protocol
Incubate the paired antibody (at working concentration) with a 5–10 molar excess of this peptide for 30–60 minutes at 4°C or room temperature. Centrifuge briefly if any precipitate forms, then use the pre-absorbed antibody in parallel with an unblocked control in the same experiment. Abolition or substantial reduction of signal confirms antibody specificity to the target epitope.
