Many peptide derivatives and modified peptides have become peptide-based drugs for anti-cancer, anti-infection and other uses. Peptide-based drugs often show higher specificity and fewer side effects than regular small-molecule drugs. This kit measures modified peptides in DMSO solution.
Kit Components
| Component | PEPD200 |
|---|---|
| 10 x C33 dye | 1 ml |
Assay Principle
The C33 dye shows a rise in fluorescence at 535 nm (excitation 485 nm) when it binds peptides in DMSO. Signals are converted to concentration with a linear standard curve.
