Compound Overview

PKM2 activator 6 activates PKM2 (Kd 121 μM) and inhibits PDK1 (Kd 19.6 μM). It induces apoptosis in colorectal cells inhibits their proliferation and migration, and suppresses glycolysis. It inhibits proliferation of DLD-1, HCT-8, HT-29 and MCF-10A cells with IC50 values of 10.04, 2.16, 3.57 and 66.39 μM, respectively[1]. It has a molecular formula of C29H31NO10S2 and a molecular weight of 617.69 g/mol.
