Color
Clear: Recommended for colorimetric/UV readout (450 nm). Transparent bottom allows transmitted-light imaging.
White: Maximises reflectance — preferred for luminescence assays (LIA, CLIA).
Black: Minimises optical background — preferred for fluorescence assays (FIA).
Plate Format
Breakable Strips (350 µl/well): 12 individual breakable strips of 8 wells — ideal for testing variable sample numbers or running assays in multiple batches.
Strip Frame (360 µl/well): Strips on a rigid 12×8 frame that prevent misorientation — recommended for automation-assisted liquid handling and plate washers.
Solid Plate (400 µl/well): Standard solid 96-well plate — preferred for high-throughput uniform assays and large sample batches.
Blocking
Standard (Proteic): BSA-based blocking — suitable for the majority of ELISA, LIA, FIA, and CLIA assay formats.
Non-Proteic (BlockerWell): Protein-free blocking — essential when BSA or animal-derived proteins would generate background or interfere with analyte detection (e.g., total protein assays, anti-BSA antibody panels).
Order Details
Minimum order: 10 pcs. Unit: 5 pcs per unit. Storage: 2 – 8 °C. Each plate is packaged in an individual sealed barrier bag with desiccant to ensure stability until first use.

Protein G Plates are designed for the efficient capture of IgG, whether applied directly or as part of an antibody/antigen complex. The Protein G surface provides an alternative to traditional passive adsorption methods for immobilizing antibodies in ELISA and other plate-based assay techniques. Protein G binds specifically to the Fc region of immunoglobulins from various mammalian species, ensuring that the F(ab)2 binding sites remain free for optimal interaction with epitopes.

Protein G Coated Plates are used in a variety of applications, including the specific and sterically oriented binding of IgG, ensuring that the antibody is properly aligned for maximum binding efficiency. They are also ideal for the separation of IgG from other immunoglobulins, as well as the isolation of antigen-antibody complexes. Additionally, these plates are highly effective for the isolation and analysis of fusion proteins, making them a versatile tool for advanced immunoassays and protein studies.

Key Features

  • Protein G surface: It binds a wide range of IgG species, including all subclasses of mouse IgG (except IgA, IgM, or serum albumin) and all subclasses of human IgG, as well as IgA, IgE, IgM, and IgD
  • Specific and sterically oriented binding of IgG
  • Separation of IgG from other immunoglobulins
  • Isolation of antigen-antibody complexes
  • Analysis and isolation of fusion proteins
  • Blocking: Plates are pre blocked with standard proteic blocking (ELISA Blocking) or with non proteic blocking (BlockerWell)
  • Low Fluorescence Polystyrene: Manufactured with pure high-quality polystyrene, minimizing background noise and improving optical clarity.
  • Wells design: flat bottom.
