In Vitro
Pubeside D, isolated from Siegesbeckia pubescens, is identified as ent-2-oxo-15,16,19-trihydroxypimar-8(14)-en-19-O-β-D-glucopyranoside, with molecular formula C26H42O9, distinct NMR spectral profiles, and a melting point of 250-253°C[1]. Pubeside D is an ent-pimarane glucopyranoside with a C-2 carbonyl substituent and glycosidic substitution on the C-18 side chain; it is found in the aerial parts of Sigesbeckia orientalis L. as well as Sigesbeckia pubescens Markino[2].
