Product Overview
PureBind Lysis Buffer is a Nucleic Acid Extraction Kit from Ocean NanoTech.
Purebind reagents are solutions for isolation of DNA and RNA fragement of desired length with Ocean NanoTech's NuPure beads. The reagents are sued for blood DNA isolation kit, Swab DNA isolation kit, Virus DNA/RNA isolation kit, size selection kit, and PCR cleanup kit. In combination with PureBind reagent, NuPure beads can used for tunable and highly consistent DNA and RNA purification and size selection for next-generation sequencing library preparation, PCR cleanup or other molecular biology workflows. The purification procedure with PureBind reagents is highly flexible to a variety of automation platforms because it utilizes magnetic separation and requires no centrifugation or vacuum filtration. The design enables faster binding, with high sensitivity and selectivity, in both manual and automated application.

Safety & Handling
For Research Use Only (RUO). Consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use and follow all applicable safety protocols.
This nucleic acid extraction kit is designed for isolation of high-quality DNA or RNA from biological samples. Refer to the product data sheet for the complete list of validated sample types, which typically includes cultured cells, tissue homogenates, blood, and other biological matrices. Sample-specific input amounts and pre-processing requirements are detailed in the kit protocol.
Expected yield varies by sample type and input amount. Purified nucleic acids typically exhibit A260/A280 ratios of ≥1.8 (DNA) or ≥2.0 (RNA), indicative of protein-free preparations. A260/A230 ratios ≥1.8 confirm removal of chaotropic salt carryover. Refer to the product data sheet for lot-specific performance data.
Yes. Nucleic acids purified with this kit are suitable for downstream applications including PCR, qPCR, RT-PCR, next-generation sequencing, and other molecular analyses requiring high-purity template. The elution buffer composition is compatible with common DNA and RNA polymerases used in amplification workflows.
