Overview
Recombinant CA9 Antibody / Carbonic anhydrase 9 is an antibody targeting CA9. Host: Mouse. Monoclonal. Clone: rCA9/9937. Format: Purified. Applications: IHC-P, WB.
Key elements and design rationale
- Target: CA9.
- Immunogen: The extracellular N-terminal proteoglycan-like region of the human protein was used as the immunogen for the recombinan….
- Species reactivity: Human.
- Localization: Cell surface, cytoplasmic, nuclear.
- Conjugate: Unconjugated (no label listed).
Biological background (from provided description)
Recognizes a glycoprotein of ~200kDa, identified as carbonic anhydrase IX (CAIX/gp200).In normal kidney, gp200 is localized along the brush border of the pars convoluta and pars recta segments of the proximal tubule, as well as focally along the luminal surface of Bowman's capsule adjoining the outgoing proximal tubule.
Common research applications
- WB: relative abundance and band pattern assessment using appropriate controls.
- IHC: tissue distribution assessment; interpret with matched controls.
Notes for experimental interpretation
- Account for isoforms, paralogs, and post-translational modifications when interpreting signal.
- Support specificity with biological controls (e.g., KO/KD where available) and technical controls (e.g., secondary-only/isotype).
Customization & Add-ons: Can’t find the antibody you need—or require a custom format for your assay? We can help you source the best match or support custom antibody solutions for diverse research needs, including species and isotype selection, conjugations and labeling (e.g., HRP/AP, biotin, fluorophores), purification grade options (Protein A/G, affinity purified), formulation preferences (buffer selection, carrier-free, glycerol-free), custom concentrations and aliquoting, low-endotoxin options for cell-based work, and application-focused QC/validation support (project dependent).
