Overview
Recombinant CD3e Antibody / CD3 epsilon is an antibody targeting CD3e. Host: Rabbit. Monoclonal. Clone: C3e/4652R. Format: Purified. Applications: ELISA, WB, IHC-P.
Key elements and design rationale
- Target: CD3e.
- Immunogen: A portion of amino acids aa 20-40 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the recombinant CD3e antibody..
- Species reactivity: Human.
- Localization: Cell surface, Cytoplasm.
- Conjugate: Unconjugated (no label listed).
Biological background (from provided description)
CD3 consists of five different polypeptide chains (designated as gamma, delta, epsilon, zeta, and eta) with MW ranging from 16-28kDa. The CD3 complex is closely associated at the lymphocyte cell surface with the T cell antigen receptor (TCR). Reportedly, CD3 complex is involved in signal transduction to the T cell interior following antigen recognition.
Common research applications
- WB: relative abundance and band pattern assessment using appropriate controls.
- IHC: tissue distribution assessment; interpret with matched controls.
Notes for experimental interpretation
- Account for isoforms, paralogs, and post-translational modifications when interpreting signal.
- Support specificity with biological controls (e.g., KO/KD where available) and technical controls (e.g., secondary-only/isotype).
Customization & Add-ons: Can’t find the antibody you need—or require a custom format for your assay? We can help you source the best match or support custom antibody solutions for diverse research needs, including species and isotype selection, conjugations and labeling (e.g., HRP/AP, biotin, fluorophores), purification grade options (Protein A/G, affinity purified), formulation preferences (buffer selection, carrier-free, glycerol-free), custom concentrations and aliquoting, low-endotoxin options for cell-based work, and application-focused QC/validation support (project dependent).
