Recombinant Human Cbp/p300-Interacting Transactivator 2 (1-160) is supplied as a recombinant protein for in vitro research use.
Background
CITED2 also known as Cbp/p300-Interacting Trans activator 2 is an important transcriptional cofactor which is involved in multiple organ development. CITED2 is part of the CITED family which take an important role in gene regulation & cellular signalling. CITED2 is a cAMP-responsive element-binding protein interacting transcriptional modulator and an anticipated negative regulator for Recombinant human CITED2 protein 1 hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF) -1alpha by competing on the binding with HIF-1alpha to CBP/p300. CITED2 is essential for Mouse Fetal liver haematopoiesis and also mandatory for the appropriate formation of the hyaloid vasculature and for lens morphogenesis as well. CITED2 is recognized for its relations with transcriptional coactivators, such as CBP and p300 and also takes part in various biological processes, together with cardiovascular development, metabolism, as well as response to hypoxia. Moreover, the most valuable form of CITED2 for learning its functional roles & potential applications in cancer research and regenerative medicine is the Recombinant one which is produced by molecular cloning and expression systems.
