Overview
Recombinant Tripartite motif-containing protein 29 Antibody / TRIM29 is an antibody targeting Tripartite. Host: Rabbit. Monoclonal. Clone: TRIM29/9257R. Format: Purified. Applications: IHC-P.
Key elements and design rationale
- Target: Tripartite.
- Immunogen: A recombinant fragment (within amino acids 1-200) of human recombinant Tripartite motif-containing protein 29 protein w….
- Species reactivity: Human.
- Localization: Cytoplasm, Cell membrane.
- Conjugate: Unconjugated (no label listed).
Biological background (from provided description)
Tripartite motif-containing protein 29 (TRIM29) interacts with the intermediate filament protein vimentin, a substrate for the PKC family of protein kinases, and with hPKCI-1, an inhibitor of the PKCs. TRIM29 protein contains both zinc finger and leucine zipper motifs, suggesting that the it may form homodimers and possibly associate with DNA.
Common research applications
- IHC: tissue distribution assessment; interpret with matched controls.
Notes for experimental interpretation
- Account for isoforms, paralogs, and post-translational modifications when interpreting signal.
- Support specificity with biological controls (e.g., KO/KD where available) and technical controls (e.g., secondary-only/isotype).
Customization & Add-ons: Can’t find the antibody you need—or require a custom format for your assay? We can help you source the best match or support custom antibody solutions for diverse research needs, including species and isotype selection, conjugations and labeling (e.g., HRP/AP, biotin, fluorophores), purification grade options (Protein A/G, affinity purified), formulation preferences (buffer selection, carrier-free, glycerol-free), custom concentrations and aliquoting, low-endotoxin options for cell-based work, and application-focused QC/validation support (project dependent).
