Compound Overview
ROS-ERS inducer 1 is a type II immunogenic cell death (ICD) inducer and a Pt(II)-N-heterocyclic carbene (Pt(II)-NHC) complex derived from 4,5-diarylimidazole. It induces endoplasmic reticulum stress (ERS) accompanied by reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation, ultimately triggering the release of damage-associated molecular patterns (DAMPs) in HCC cells, and it displays much higher anticancer activity than Cisplatin[1]. It is supplied as a light yellow to yellow solid (C24H23F2I2N3Pt, MW 840.35) at 99.12% purity.
