Overview

SDHA Antibody is an antibody targeting SDHA. Host: Mouse. Monoclonal. Clone: SDHA/7492. Format: Purified. Applications: IHC-P.

Key elements and design rationale

  • Target: SDHA.
  • Immunogen: A recombinant partial protein sequence (within amino acids 450-650) from the human protein was used as the immunogen fo….
  • Species reactivity: Human.
  • Localization: Cytoplasm (Mitochondria).
  • Conjugate: Unconjugated (no label listed).

Biological background (from provided description)

In aerobic respiration reactions, succinate dehydrogenase (SDH) catalyzes the oxidation of succinate and ubiquinone to fumarate and ubiquinol. Four subunits comprise the SDH protein complex: a flavochrome subunit (SDHA), an iron-sulfur protein (SDHB) and two membrane-bound subunits (SDHC and SDHD) anchored to the inner mitochondrial membrane.

Common research applications

  • IHC: tissue distribution assessment; interpret with matched controls.

Notes for experimental interpretation

  • Account for isoforms, paralogs, and post-translational modifications when interpreting signal.
  • Support specificity with biological controls (e.g., KO/KD where available) and technical controls (e.g., secondary-only/isotype).

Customization & Add-ons: Can’t find the antibody you need—or require a custom format for your assay? We can help you source the best match or support custom antibody solutions for diverse research needs, including species and isotype selection, conjugations and labeling (e.g., HRP/AP, biotin, fluorophores), purification grade options (Protein A/G, affinity purified), formulation preferences (buffer selection, carrier-free, glycerol-free), custom concentrations and aliquoting, low-endotoxin options for cell-based work, and application-focused QC/validation support (project dependent).
