Compound Overview
Sirtuin modulator 5 is a sirtuin-modulating agent that can activate SIRT1 with a DC50 value below 50 μM. It can be used to extend the lifespan of a cell and to study a range of conditions, including diseases or disorders related to aging or stress, diabetes, obesity, neurodegenerative diseases, cardiovascular disease, blood clotting disorders, inflammation, cancer, and diseases or disorders that would benefit from increased mitochondrial activity[1]. It has the molecular formula C24H23N3O4 (MW 417.46).
