Product Overview
Stellate Cell Growth Medium is designed to promote stellate cell proliferation in culture. This medium kit consists of Stellate Cell Basal Medium (Cat# MD-0014B), 50 mL of Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS, Cat# MD-0094), 1 mL of Stellate Cell Growth Supplement (Cat# MD-0014S), and 5 mL of Antibiotic – Antimycotic (100X) (Cat# MD-0095).
Stellate Cell Growth Medium is a sterile-filtered, ready-to-use liquid medium from iXCells Biotechnologies for the routine culture and expansion of Stellate Cells in vitro. Each lot is screened for bacteria, yeast, fungi and mycoplasma before release.

Instructions for Use
Thaw Fetal Bovine Serum, Growth Supplement and Antibiotic – Antimycotic in 37 o C water bath. Gently tilt the tubes several times to ensure the contents are completely mixed before adding to the medium. In a sterile field, add Fetal Bovine Serum, Growth Supplement and Antibiotic – Antimycotic to the medium and mix well. The reconstituted medium is stable for one month in 4 o C and up to a year in -20 o C with minimal exposure to light.
