Scientific Background
SUMO Protease (ULP1) is highly specific for the SUMO protein fusion, recognizing the tertiary structure of SUMO rather than an amino acid sequence.
Product Description
SUMO Protease (ULP1) is supplied as a recombinant enzyme that recognises the tertiary structure of SUMO and releases the native N-terminus of SUMO fusion proteins. It is produced in E. coli and supplied at >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. Typical use is removing affinity tags from recombinant fusion proteins during purification.
