Overview
T-Cell Intracellular Antigen-1 Antibody / TIA-1 is an antibody targeting T-Cell. Host: Mouse. Monoclonal. Clone: rTIA1/1353. Format: Purified. Applications: IHC-P.
Key elements and design rationale
- Target: T-Cell.
- Immunogen: Recombinant full-length human protein was used as the immunogen for the T-Cell Intracellular Antigen-1 antibody..
- Species reactivity: Human.
- Localization: Cytoplasm, nucleus.
- Conjugate: Unconjugated (no label listed).
Biological background (from provided description)
The T cell intracellular antigen 1 (TIA 1) is a 17 kDa cytoplasmic granule associated protein also designated as GMP 17, for granule membrane protein of 17 kDa. The GMP 17/TIA 1 molecule is expressed in cells possessing cytolytic potential and could be involved in the signaling cascade of Fas (CD95) mediated apoptosis.
Common research applications
- IHC: tissue distribution assessment; interpret with matched controls.
Notes for experimental interpretation
- Account for isoforms, paralogs, and post-translational modifications when interpreting signal.
- Support specificity with biological controls (e.g., KO/KD where available) and technical controls (e.g., secondary-only/isotype).
Customization & Add-ons: Can’t find the antibody you need—or require a custom format for your assay? We can help you source the best match or support custom antibody solutions for diverse research needs, including species and isotype selection, conjugations and labeling (e.g., HRP/AP, biotin, fluorophores), purification grade options (Protein A/G, affinity purified), formulation preferences (buffer selection, carrier-free, glycerol-free), custom concentrations and aliquoting, low-endotoxin options for cell-based work, and application-focused QC/validation support (project dependent).
