Overview
TIGIT Antibody / VSTM3 / VSIG9 is an antibody targeting TIGIT. Host: Mouse. Monoclonal. Clone: TIGIT/3018. Format: Purified. Applications: ELISA.
Key elements and design rationale
- Target: TIGIT.
- Immunogen: A portion of amino acids 22-141 from human TIGIT protein was used as the immunogen for the TIGIT antibody..
- Species reactivity: Human.
- Localization: Cell membrane, Cell surface.
- Conjugate: Unconjugated (no label listed).
Biological background (from provided description)
TIGIT is a checkpoint inhibitor which binds with high affinity to the poliovirus receptor (PVR), causing increased IL10 secretion, decreased IL12B secretion. TIGIT binding to PVR also causes the suppression of T cell activation by promoting the generation of mature immuno-regulatory dendritic cells.
Common research applications
- Suitable for antibody-based detection workflows where target signal comparison and localization are required.
Notes for experimental interpretation
- Account for isoforms, paralogs, and post-translational modifications when interpreting signal.
- Support specificity with biological controls (e.g., KO/KD where available) and technical controls (e.g., secondary-only/isotype).
Customization & Add-ons: Can’t find the antibody you need—or require a custom format for your assay? We can help you source the best match or support custom antibody solutions for diverse research needs, including species and isotype selection, conjugations and labeling (e.g., HRP/AP, biotin, fluorophores), purification grade options (Protein A/G, affinity purified), formulation preferences (buffer selection, carrier-free, glycerol-free), custom concentrations and aliquoting, low-endotoxin options for cell-based work, and application-focused QC/validation support (project dependent).
