| Specificity | JAK1(Phospho Tyr1034/1035) Antibody detects endogenous levels of JAK1 protein only when phosphorylated at Tyr1034/1035.The name of modified sites may be influenced by many factors, such as species (the modified site was not originally found in human samples) and the change of protein sequence (the previous protein sequence is incomplete, and the protein sequence may be prolonged with the development of protein sequencing technology). When naming, we will use the "numbers" in historical reference to keep the sites consistent with the reports. The antibody binds to the following modification sequence (lowercase letters are modification sites):KEyyTV |

Tyrosine-protein kinase JAK1
Reactivity Notes
Confirmed cross-reactivity: Human, Mouse, Rat. Confirm suitability for untested species before use.
Scientific Background
This gene encodes a membrane protein that is a member of a class of protein-tyrosine kinases (PTK) characterized by the presence of a second phosphotransferase-related domain immediately N-terminal to the PTK domain. The encoded kinase phosphorylates STAT proteins (signal transducers and activators of transcription) and plays a key role in interferon-alpha/beta and interferon-gamma signal transduction. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2016]
